by Bhimber (March 10, 2025) – Deputy Commissioner Bhimber, Mirza Arshad Mahmood Jarral, reviewed the plantation of fruit plants and other saplings at the DC Complex. During the briefing by DFO Samar Iqbal, he emphasized that, as per the directives of AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, large-scale tree plantation efforts are underway across the district, with a strong focus on the protection and maintenance of planted trees.
He stated that all relevant departments have been instructed to ensure the success of the drive, with a target of planting 250,000 trees. So far, 185,000 saplings have already been distributed. He urged the public to actively participate in the campaign, not only by planting trees but also by ensuring their proper care, as these trees are essential for a healthy environment and future generations.
